KU adds pair of home matches as Hurricane Florence cancels N.C. trip

LAWRENCE, Kan. – Hurricane Florence has forced the cancellation of three Kansas volleyball matches that were originally scheduled in North Carolina this weekend.

Due to the change, the Jayhawks will now play a two-match series at home against UNC Greensboro on Friday, Sept. 14 and Saturday, Sept. 15 inside Horejsi Family Athletics Center.

Friday’s match begins at 5 p.m.  

Saturday’s match begins at 6 p.m.

Tickets to both matches on Friday and Saturday will be automatically sent via email to KU volleyball season ticket holders. For additional ticket inquiries, please contact the Kansas Athletics Ticket Office at 800-34-HAWKS (42957) or visit KUTickets.com.

The National Weather Service is classifying Hurricane Florence as a Category 4 hurricane that is forecasted to hit the coast of the Carolinas on Thursday.
