Rankings update: Kansas enters final week of regular season at No. 14

LEXINGTON, Ky. – In the final ACVA Coaches Poll of the regular season released on Monday, Kansas volleyball is ranked No. 14. The Jayhawks have been ranked in the top-25 for 44-straight AVCA polls.

Kansas has played 10 matches against current top-25 teams this season with five wins over No. 6 Kentucky, No. 16 Purdue, No. 18 Baylor, No. 22 Iowa State, and No. 25 Missouri State.

In the final public NCAA RPI before the NCAA Volleyball Selection Special this Sunday (7 p.m., ESPNU), Kansas checks in at No. 12. Kentucky, which the Jayhawks defeated in straight sets on Sept. 4, is the new No. 1 team in the NCAA RPI.

The Jayhawks (22-6, 11-4 Big 12) play host to West Virginia in the final match of the regular season on Saturday, Nov. 25 (1 p.m., JTV/ESPN3). The Thanksgiving Week contest will be highlighted by Senior Day festivities, in which KU’s dynamic class of seven graduating seniors will be honored. During the last four years, the seven magnificent seniors account for 101 victories, KU’s first-ever Big 12 title, a Final Four appearance, and six All-America honors to date.
