LAWRENCE, Kan. – The Kansas volleyball match against Texas Tech on Saturday, Oct. 8 in Lawrence will begin at 4 p.m. Central inside Horejsi Family Athletics Center. The announcement comes after the Kansas football’s kickoff against TCU, also on Oct. 8, was set at 11 a.m. Central.

Jayhawk Television Network will televise the match live on Time Warner Cable SportsChannel and ESPN3.  

POLL UPDATE
The Jayhawks remained at No. 8 for the second-straight week in the latest AVCA Coaches Poll released on Monday.

Kansas has been ranked in the top-25 for a program-record 20-consecutive times dating back to last season, including 16 consecutive times in the top-10. The Jayhawks debuted the season with a No. 5 preseason ranking in the AVCA Coaches Poll and have spent three weeks at No. 4 this season.

UP NEXT
The Jayhawks have a mid-week bye before playing host to Baylor on Saturday afternoon (1 p.m., JTV/ESPN3) inside Horejsi Family Athletics Center.
