Kansas’ non-conference schedule brings eight games to Allen Fieldhouse. The Jayhawks will play a total of 19 games at home, including a pair of exhibition games against Pittsburg State and Emporia State. KU’s non-conference slate is highlighted by six teams that appeared in the 2013 NCAA Tournament and participating in the 2013 Ezybonds Global Payments U.S. Virgin Islands Paradise Jam over the Thanksgiving holiday.

The Jayhawks open Big 12 play in Lawrence against West Virginia on Jan. 2. The Mountaineers finished the 2012-13 campaign with 17-14 record and 9-9 Big 12 mark. WVU was one of seven Big 12 teams to appear in the NCAA Tournament last season.

Baylor advanced to the Sweet 16 before falling to Louisville, which ended its season with a 34-2 mark. The Bears went 18-0 in conference play last year and won their third-straight Big 12 title.

Kansas welcomes Oklahoma State on Jan. 22 and Texas on Jan. 28 to Allen Fieldhouse. Oklahoma State also appeared in the NCAA Tournament advancing to the second round before falling to Duke, another KU foe in 2013-14. KU faces Oklahoma on the Feb. 9 at home in the second half of the Big 12 season. The Sooners also made a postseason appearance and went 11-7 in conference play for a third-place tie with Texas Tech.  The Jayhawks also hosts in-state rivals Kansas State on Feb. 29. KU swept the series over the Wildcats last season.

The final Big 12 home contest is on March 1 against Iowa State. The Cyclones were 24-9 in 2012-13 and defeated Gonzaga in the first round to advance, but Georgia ended their postseason run in the second round.

The Big 12 schedule will feature a double round-robin format in which the Jayhawks will face each conference opponent twice.
