Fox Sports to broadcast both Dillons Sunflower Showdown matchups

LAWRENCE, Kan. – Kansas women’s basketball will have two games appear on Fox Sports Network during the upcoming season, as announced by the Big 12 Conference on Friday morning.

The Jayhawks’ two matchups with in-state rival Kansas State will be featured on FOX. The first edition of the Dillons Sunflower Showdown will be televised on FS1 when KU welcomes the Wildcats to Allen Fieldhouse on Sunday, Jan. 28, at 4 p.m. When Kansas travels west on I-70 for the final contest against K-State, it will be featured on FSN Saturday, Feb. 24., at 3 p.m.

Each game of the 2018 Big 12 Championship will be broadcast by the Fox Sports Network with the postseason championship quarterfinals being featured on FSN and the league semifinals televised on FS1. The conference tournament begins on March 2 and runs through March 5 at Chesapeake Energy Arena in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

The Jayhawks return three starters and seven letterwinners from last year’s roster including 2017 Big 12 Newcomer of the Year Jessica Washington, while adding seven new members to the 2017-18 team.
