Kansas announces ‘Hawk Talk’ lineup for 2018-19
LAWRENCE, Kan. – ‘Hawk Talk’ with Kansas women’s basketball head coach Brandon Schneider kicks off on Thursday, Nov. 8, and is the first of 15 shows to be broadcast during the 2018-19 season.
‘Hawk Talk’ gives Jayhawk fans insight into the women’s basketball program, upcoming opponents and recaps past games. It also allows fans a chance to ask Schneider questions and hear the latest Kansas women’s basketball news. Those in attendance at ‘Hawk Talk’ have an opportunity to get to know the Jayhawks’ fourth-year coach.
The voice of Kansas women’s basketball, Jimmy Chavez, enters his fourth season as the host of ‘Hawk Talk’, which airs on Thursdays from 6-7 p.m., at Henry T’s with a few exceptions. Chavez will call all the action home and away for the Jayhawks during the 2018-19 campaign.
Hawk Talk can be heard on Jayhawk IMG Radio Network, streamed for free on KUAthletics.com or through the Kansas mobile app.
