Kansas’ matchup with Texas Tech to air on FOX Sports Networks

LAWRENCE, Kan. – One of the most televised women’s basketball programs across the country, Kansas will have one of its 2016-17 Big 12 Conference matchups televised on FOX Sports, as announced by the league on Tuesday morning.
In the last three seasons, the Jayhawks have had over 20 games air on regional or national television, including every game played inside Allen Fieldhouse.

KU’s contest against Texas Tech on Saturday, Jan. 28 will tipoff at 11 a.m., on FOX Sports Network (FSN).  The Jayhawks’ complete broadcast schedule will be made available once it’s finalized for the 2016-17 slate.

Additionally, the entire postseason championship will be televised for the fourth-consecutive year beginning with the two first round contests on FOX College Sports. Quarterfinal games will air on FOX Sports Regional Networks for the 16th-consecutive year while the semifinals and final will make their fourth national appearance on FS1. The final three games have appeared on FOX Sports networks every year since the inception of the Conference in 1996-97.

The Jayhawks open their 2016-17 season at the 32nd annual Late Night in the Phog presented by Hy-Vee Saturday, Oct. 1, in Allen Fieldhouse. Late Night in the Phog will run from 6:30 p.m., to approximately 9:30 p.m.
