Boonraksasat lands fourth-place finish on Taiwan LPGA

LAWRENCE, Kan. – Thanuttra Boonraksasat, a former Kansas golfer whose collegiate career culminated at the 2014 NCAA Championship, scored a 4-under 68 for the second-straight day and finished in a three-way tie for fourth-place in the 2016 Party Golfers Ladies Open at the National Golf Country Club in Yuanli Township, Taiwan, Friday as part of the LPGA of Taiwan Tour.
 
After starting off her day with a bogey on the first hole, Boonraksasat quickly made up the lost ground with an eagle on the par-five third hole. She added a pair of birdies on later par-five holes to finish the event with a seven-under 209. Boonraksasat finished one stroke away from second place and three strokes behind the winner, I-Wen Chen of Taiwan, who shot a day-best 65 on the final round to finish with a 10-under, 206.
