Jayhawk Rowing Announces June Camp

LAWRENCE, Kan. – On June 11, the Jayhawks will host the Kansas Rowing Camp designed to teach interested high school and college-aged female athletes more about the sport.
 
The 2014 Kansas Rowing Camp is geared towards beginner rowers. KU head coach Rob Catloth and his staff want to offer a challenging, fun and rewarding first experience into the sport of rowing. Campers will learn fundamental skills and the importance of teamwork in rowing.
 
The camp is open to any and all female athletes who will be high school freshmen, sophomores, juniors or seniors in the fall of 2014. Also eligible are any and all female incoming college freshmen and two-year transfer students.
