KU Soccer Updates Remaining Spring Exhibition Schedule

LAWRENCE, Kan. – Kansas soccer was forced to make changes to its two remaining spring exhibition games the Jayhawk coaches announced Thursday.

The Jayhawks, who were originally scheduled to play the FC Kansas City Reserve Team on Monday, April 21, will change opponents after FCKC was forced to cancel the match. The Jayhawks will now take on the Kansas men’s club team at the originally scheduled date and time (April 21 at 5:30 p.m.) at the Jayhawk Soccer Complex in Lawrence.

KU will play the men’s club team again later in the week at the originally scheduled date and time on Saturday, April 26th. Kick off is still set for 1 p.m., and will again take place at the Jayhawk Soccer Complex.

So far this spring the Jayhawks have dropped both their exhibition contests. KU fell to FC Kansas City, 3-1, on March 29 to open their spring campaign. The following week the Iowa Hawkeyes journeyed to Lawrence and topped Kansas by a score of 2-0.
