LAWRENCE, Kan. – Former Kansas soccer star Caroline Kastor was added to the roster of FC Kansas City of the National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL) the club announced Friday. FCKC is three games into its 2015 season as it looks to defend its NWSL title from a year ago.

Kastor, who played for the Jayhawks from 2010-13, is making her first appearance on a professional roster since her career in Lawrence came to an end. The Wichita product finished her career at No. 2 on KU’s all-time goal scoring chart (26) and No. 5 in total points (66). She was selected to the All-Central Region second team as well as the All-Big 12 second team as a senior following the 2013 season.

Kastor joins an FC Kansas City squad that is 1-2-0 through its first three matches of the 2015 season. The reigning NWSL Champion Blues’ next outing will be on Saturday, May 2 when they take on the Houston Dash in Houston.
