Jayhawks’ Big 12 Matches Available Online

LAWRENCE, Kan. – Kansas fans will have the opportunity to enjoy Jayhawk soccer like never before over the coming month as all eight of the Jayhawks’ remaining matches will be available on web stream, television, radio or all of these platforms. The stretch begins this weekend as Kansas opens its Big 12 slate against Texas on Oct. 2 at Rock Chalk Park.
 
RADIO
The only platform where fans will be able to find all eight of the Jayhawks games will be via the Jayhawk Radio Network. Griffin Hughes will have the play-by-play in each of KU’s conference games at home or on the road. The radio broadcast can be accessed for free online by visiting KUAthletics.com or on your mobile device by downloading the Kansas Jayhawks App.
 
Six matches can also be heard over the airwaves as several local stations will broadcast the action. KJHK (90.7FM) will broadcast the Kansas-Texas matchup this coming Friday night. KWOD (1660AM), which reaches the majority of the Kansas City Metro area, will host the Kansas matches against Baylor (10/9), at West Virginia (10/16), at Texas Tech (10/23) and versus TCU (10/30). KLWN (1320AM), which reaches both the Lawrence and Topeka areas, will also broadcast the Jayhawks’ match at Oklahoma State (10/25).
 
WEB STREAM
Each of the four remaining KU home games can be viewed online in some capacity. Kansas Athletics will broadcast three of those matches via YouTube. Those games will be Texas (10/2), Baylor (10/9) and TCU (10/30).
 
The Kansas-Oklahoma contest on Oct. 11 in Lawrence can be seen on ESPN3 via your desktop or on the WatchESPN app on your mobile device.
 
TELEVISION
The KU-OU match will also be broadcast on TimeWarner Cable Sportschannel. Dave Stewart (play-by-play) and Huw Williams (analyst) will have the call. Visit KUAthletics.com/TV for listings in your area.
