The Kansas swimming and diving team will kick of the 2014-15 season with its annual intrasquad meet in Robinson Natatorium on Friday at 4:15 p.m., changed from its original time of 3:30 p.m.
The meet will consist of ten events, with a 20-minute break for diving halfway. The low-key practice with “fast suit Friday,” where the team wears competition suits, will be a way for the swimmers and divers to get back into competition mode as most have not competed since July or August.
The Jayhawks will travel to Omaha, Nebraska for the first official meet of the season to take on the Mavericks on October 13.
The team will be back in action at home when they host Denver and Missouri State for a two-day invitational October 24-25.
