No. 9 Kansas (17-0, 5-0 Big 12) brings a program-best 17-match winning streak and the NCAA’s leading offense into a road match at Baylor (13-5, 1-3) on Wednesday at 7 p.m. Audio play-by-play of the match will be available through

TOP 10: Moving up one spot to No. 9 this week, Kansas has reached a program-high ranking in the AVCA Coaches Poll for four consecutive weeks. Entering the season, KU’s highest ranking was No. 17 at the end of 2013 season.
NCAA-LEADING OFFENSE: KU leads the nation in kills (15.5), hitting percentage (.323), and assists (14.5). Sophomore setter Ainise Havili leads the nation in assists per set (12.6).
UNDEFEATED: The Jayhawks (17-0, 5-0 Big 12) are one of two remaining undefeated teams at the NCAA Division I level (Kansas, USC).
UNPRECEDENTED: KU’s 17-match winning streak is the best start to a season in program history and the longest winning streak in program history. Kansas is chasing what would be a program-best fourth consecutive bid to the NCAA tournament.
• HAVILI EARNS NATIONAL HONOR: Sophomore setter Ainise Havili was named the Sports Imports/AVCA National Player of the Year on Tuesday and Big 12 Offensive Player of the Week for the second time this season on Monday. Havili guided KU’s high-octane offense to a .326 hitting percentage last week in sweeps over Texas Tech and Iowa State. Havili averaged a Big 12-leading 12.3 assists per set, totaled four aces, and registered six kills on 14 errorless swings.
• KILLERS: Kansas is the only team in the Big 12 with multiple players who rank top-10 in kills per set in the league. The Jayhawks are represented by Kelsie Payne (2nd), Tiana Dockery (5th), and Madison Rigdon (8th).
• WAIT ANCHORS BACK ROW: Junior libero Cassie Wait has just five reception errors all season as KU’s primary passer, good for a .981 reception percentage. Wait ranks third in the Big 12 in digs per set (4.9) and is steadily climbing KU’s career digs list, currently eighth with 1,059 career digs.
• KANSAS-BAYLOR SERIES: Baylor leads the all-time series with Kansas, 22-19. The Jayhawks have won six of the last seven matches against the Bears, including four straight.
