Kansas baseball raced out to an early lead and never looked back as the Jayhawks won 8-2 against McNeese State on Saturday afternoon at Joe Miller Ballpark. The victory clinched a series win with the opportunity to go for a sweep on Sunday.
Kansas baseball returned to the win column with an 11-2 win against McNeese State on Friday night at Joe Miller Ballpark. Graduate Jordan Bach and junior Tyson LeBlanc each hit a home run in the win. LeBlanc, a native of Maurice, Louisiana, had a team-high three RBIs in front of a large contingent of family and friends.

Kansas baseball dropped its midweek contest 4-1 against Lamar at Vincent-Beck Stadium on Wednesday evening. A three-run homer by Lamar in the bottom of the seventh inning was the difference.
