The Kansas softball season came to a close Saturday night in the Norman Regional of the NCAA Tournament with the Jayhawks dropping a 9-0 game to Oklahoma in the afternoon and then a 12-10 thriller to Michigan at Love's Field in an elimination game in the evening.
Kansas sophomore Ava Wallace hit a walk-off single in the bottom of the eighth inning as Kansas defeated Michigan, 1-0, in the first game of the Norman Regional at Love's Field on Friday evening.
Kansas softball heads to Norman, Oklahoma, as the Jayhawks take on Michigan in the first round of the Norman Regional on Friday, May 15. First pitch is scheduled for 5 p.m. CT from Love's Field and will be broadcast on ESPNU.
