Kansas rowing hit the water for its first competition of the 2021 spring slate in an exhibition with Tulsa Saturday – a starting point for a team that had their season cut short in 2020 due to COVID-19.
The Kansas men’s and women’s track and field teams opened its 2021 outdoor campaign at the Longhorn Invitational at Mike A. Myers Stadium in Austin, Texas on Saturday, marking the Jayhawks’ first appearance at an outdoor meet in 637 days.
The Kansas women’s tennis team defeated Southeast Missouri State (SEMO), 7-0, at the Jayhawk Tennis Center in Lawrence, Kansas on Saturday, as the Jayhawks have now won four of their last five matches.
Kansas men’s basketball will be the No. 2 Seed for the 2021 Big 12 Championship, March 10-13, at the T-Mobile Center in Kansas City, Missouri. KU will play the winner of No. 7 Oklahoma and No. 10 Iowa State in the quarterfinals on Thursday, March 11, at 5:30 p.m. (Central). Oklahoma and Iowa State will play Wednesday, March 10, at 8:30 p.m.
