Boyer Earns Big 12 Freshman of the Week Honors

LAWRENCE, Kan. – Ella Boyer has been named Big 12 Freshman of the Week, the conference announced Tuesday afternoon, after a standout performance at the plate. She becomes the first Kansas Jayhawk to earn a weekly conference honor this season and the first KU player to be recognized in the Big 12 weekly awards since the 2024 season.

Kansas No. 3 Seed for Upcoming Big 12 Tournament

Kansas men's basketball will be the No. 3 seed for the upcoming Big 12 Tournament, March 10-14, at the T-Mobile Center in Kansas City, Missouri. Kansas (22-9, 12-6) earned a double bye and will play its first game of the event in the quarterfinals on Thursday, March 12 at 8:30 p.m. CT. The quarterfinal contest will be televised on ESPN or ESPN2.
