No. 14 Kansas Seizes First Regular Season Conference Championship Since 1949

For the first time since 1949, Kansas Baseball has won a regular season conference championship. No. 14 Kansas defeated BYU 7-6 on Friday evening at Miller Park to clinch only its fourth regular season title in school history (1923, 1924, 1949).

Kansas sophomore Ava Wallace hit a walk-off single in the bottom of the eighth inning as Kansas defeated Michigan, 1-0, in the first game of the Norman Regional at Love's Field on Friday evening.

No. 14 Kansas Baseball dropped its regular season finale 5-4 to BYU in 11 innings at Miller Park on Saturday afternoon. Despite the loss, Kansas won the Big 12 Conference regular season title outright on Friday evening.
