Kansas freshman Jaliya Davis scored 12 of her game-high 25 points in the fourth quarter as Kansas defeated San Diego State, 85-78, in the quarterfinals of the WBIT at Allen Fieldhouse Thursday evening.
The postseason run of the Kansas Jayhawks continues Thursday, March 26, as KU hosts San Diego State in the quarterfinals of the Women's Basketball Invitation Tournament (WBIT).
Led by a team-high 15 points from sophomore Regan Williams and 13 points from freshman Jaliya Davis, the Kansas Jayhawks knocked off Rice, 62-55, on Sunday evening at Allen Fieldhouse.
The Kansas Jayhawks will host the Rice Owls, champions of the American Athletic Conference, in the second round of the Women's Basketball Invitation Tournament (WBIT), on Sunday, March 22.
