LAWRENCE, Kan. – Kansas Athletics has announced the dates and times for Hawk Talk with Kansas Men's Basketball head coach Bill Self, which begins Monday, October 28 live from Johnny's Tavern West Lawrence.
Live from Johnny's Tavern – West Lawrence (721 Wakarusa Drive), Hawk Talk airs from 6-7 p.m. CT and will give fans the opportunity to listen to Coach Self answer questions about all things KU men's basketball. Hawk Talk is hosted by Brian Hanni, the Voice of the Jayhawks. Fans can submit questions to Coach Self in person or at KUAthletics.com.
The first of 15 shows premieres on Monday, October 28 at 6 p.m., one day prior to Kansas' home-opener against Washburn on Tuesday, Oct 29. The show dates and times are subject to change. Check your local listing for availability in your area.
Hawk Talk can be heard around the state of Kansas on the Jayhawk Radio Network affiliates and via KUAthletics.com and the Kansas Jayhawks Mobile App, which will also feature a live audio stream of the show. The No. 1-ranked Kansas men's basketball team will play 17 home games in 2024-25 in the newly upgraded Allen Fieldhouse, also celebrating the historic venue's 70th season. The Jayhawks will also play a 20-game conference slate.
