LAWRENCE, Kan. – Kansas swimming and diving head coach Clark Campbell has announced the upcoming 2024-25 schedule, highlighted by eight home meets.
"Our team is looking forward to getting back to competing in October," said Campbell. "Everything is geared towards peaking at the Big 12 Championship, and we have plenty of opportunities against strong competition that will have us ready in February."
Kansas begins fall competition at home looking to win its third-straight Sunflower Showdown on Friday, Oct. 6, before hitting the road less than a week later with a dual versus Illinois at Champaign, Illinois.
The Jayhawks will then host three-straight home competitions beginning with the Alumni Meet (Oct. 18), then following with duals against South Dakota (Oct. 25-26) and Nebraska (Nov. 1). The team then gears up for its last road trip of 2024 to Iowa City, Iowa, for a three-day meet at the Hawkeye Invite, slated from Nov. 21-23.
Kansas comes back home to close out its fall season with a dual against Rockhurst on Dec. 7.
Spring season action returns with an away conference meeting at Houston on Saturday, Jan. 11. Kansas heads back to Lawrence for its Crimson vs. Blue exhibition meet (Jan. 17) before traveling to Fayetteville, Arkansas, to take on the Razorbacks on Friday, Jan. 24.
Two weeks later, the Jayhawks face conference foe Iowa State for a home dual on Friday, Feb. 7. The ensuing weekend on Feb. 14-15, the team will host its Jayhawk First Chance Meet to close out the regular season.
Kansas will open the postseason at the 2025 Big 12 Championships, set for Feb. 25 to March 1 in Federal Way, Washington, at Weyerhaeuser King Aquatic Center. This marks the first neutral site for the championship as it has previously been hosted on a Big 12 campus every year since 1997.
Divers who post qualifying scores at the Big 12 Championship will earn an opportunity to extend their season and compete at the NCAA Zone Diving Championships, taking place March 11-13 in Iowa City, Iowa.
Jayhawk swimmers who qualify for the 2025 NCAA Women's Swimming and Diving Championships will make their way back to Federal Way, Washington, to compete from March 19-22 at the Weyerhaeuser King Aquatic Center.
