
Jayhawks Back in Action With Road Dual Meet at Houston Saturday

LAWRENCE, Kan. – The Kansas swimming and diving team is back in action after a 35-day break and will face Houston on Saturday, Jan. 11 at the Campus Recreation & Wellness Center. Action from Houston is set for 11 a.m. CT.
"We're looking forward to kicking off the new year down south," said Kansas head coach Clark Campbell. "Houston is one of the top teams in the conference and this will present an excellent opportunity to raise our game."
The Jayhawks and Houston have met twice all-time, with Kansas leading the series 2-0. Kansas is 2-2 in dual meets this season and is set for their first of two remaining Big 12 matchups.
To close out 2024, junior diver Lize van Leeuwen and freshman Anna Gearhart earned Big 12 weekly honors on Dec. 11. Van Leeuwen was named the Big 12 Women's Diver of the Week and Gearhart was selected as Big 12 Women's Newcomer of the Week.
