LAWRENCE, Kan. – Kansas student-athletes established a new department record with a combined 3.45 grade point average this past fall, surging past the 3.40 they posted in the spring of 2024.

For each of the last five semesters, student-athletes have either tied or broken the department record. Beginning with a 3.33 GPA in the Fall 2022 semester and continuing through the Fall 2024 semester, Kansas student-athletes have continued to elevate the department's GPA each semester with a record-breaking effort.

"Our student-athletes continue to inspire us all with their remarkable performance in the classroom," Director of Athletics Travis Goff said. "Each semester, they have found a way to raise an already exceptionally high bar and elevate our department to unprecedented heights. During a transformative time in college athletics, our student-athletes, academic staff and coaches have remained committed to excellence in the classroom."
