LAWRENCE, Kan. — No. 21 Kansas (6-2) will host No. 5 UConn (6-1) on Tuesday, Dec. 2. Tip from Allen Fieldhouse is set for 8 p.m. (Central) and the game will be televised on ESPN2.
Tuesday's contest will recognize Hoops4ALS. Hoops4ALS is dedicated to uniting basketball coaches, players, and fans to raise awareness for amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) – also known as Lou Gehrig's Disease.
Kansas is coming off an 81-76 win against No. 17 Tennessee in the third-place game at the Players Era on Nov. 26 in Las Vegas. KU went 3-0 in the event. UConn defeated No. 13 Illinois, 74-61, on Nov. 28 at Madison Square Garden in New York City.
Kansas leads the all-time series with UConn, 4-0. In the last meeting, then-No. 5 Kansas defeated then-No. 4 UConn, 69-65, on Dec. 1, 2023, in Allen Fieldhouse.
