LAWRENCE, Kan. – Matchups and game times for the Fort Myers Tip-Off Classic were announced today, with Kansas being set to face off against Georgia and Dayton as part of the Island Division of the event.
 
The Jayhawks will meet Georgia at 6:30 p.m. CT on Friday, Nov. 28 before closing out the event against Dayton at 6:30 p.m. CT on Saturday, Nov. 29. Butler will also compete in the four-team Island Division. Both games will be played at Suncoast Credit Union Arena on the campus of Florida SouthWestern State College. Each game of the Fort Myers Tip-Off Classic will be nationally televised by ION with distribution on cable, satellite, major streaming platforms and over the air.
 
Making its first appearance in the Fort Myers Tip-Off Classic, Kansas will face Dayton for the first time in program history, while taking on Georgia for the third time, first since 1993. KU's all-time series vs. Georgia is tied at 1-1, including a 92-79 Jayhawk victory in the last meeting, played on Dec. 18, 1993, in New York, N.Y.
 
The matchups round out the 12-game non-conference schedule that 11th year head coach 
Brandon Schneider's team will face prior to Big 12 Conference play. The non-conference schedule, which was released last week, includes power four matchups against Missouri (Nov. 15) at the T-Mobile Center in Kansas City, Missouri, at home against Minnesota (Nov. 19) and at Northwestern (Dec. 3).
