WACO, Texas - Kansas tennis continued its strong performance at the H-E-B Invitational at the Hurd Tennis Center in Waco, Texas, recording seven victories on the second day of competition.

Yerkezhan Arystanbekova continued to contribute to the Jayhawks' success, earning a dominant 6-0, 6-1 victory over Iowa State's Valentina Vargas.

Polina Koneva carried the team's momentum from day one into the second day of competition, securing another win with a 7-5, 6-0 victory over Iowa State's Mille Day.

Caroline Manzi returned to the court and secured a 6-2, 6-4 victory over UTSA's Akari Tomoyose.

Simryn Jacob also added to the Jayhawks' win total, battling through a close three-set match to defeat UTSA's Giuliana Giardina, 6-2, 6-7, [10-8].

In doubles action, the Jayhawks swept all three matches. Arystanbekova and Koneva teamed up for a dominant 6-0 victory over Iowa State's Mari Paz Alberto and Millie Day.

Hyejeong Ahn and Jacob added another strong win for the Jayhawks, defeating UTSA's Gabriela Felix da Silva and Diana Khaydarshina, 6-0.

Anna Putilina and Manzi teamed up in the final doubles match, adding another victory for the Jayhawks with a 6-4 win over UTSA's Akari Tomoyose and Giuliana Giardina.
