LAWRENCE, Kan. – Kansas football will be represented by two Jayhawks, Bryce Cabeldue and Logan Brown, in Super Bowl LX on Sunday as the Seattle Seahawks take on the New England Patriots at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, Calif.
Â
The Super Bowl is scheduled to kick off at 5:30 p.m. CT on NBC.
Â
Cabeldue and Brown will represent the Seattle Seahawks in Super Bowl LX. Cabeldue was placed on injured reserve on Jan. 23, while Brown is a member of the Seahawks' practice squad.
Â
Cabeldue played in five games on the offensive line for the Seahawks this season, as Seattle earned the NFC's top seed in the NFL Playoffs. The Seahawks earned the first-round bye before defeating the San Francisco 49ers in the NFC Divisional Round, 41-6, and the Los Angeles Rams in the NFC Conference Championship, 31-27.
Â
Cabeldue was a four-year starter at Kansas, starting 47 games over his career at offensive tackle. Cabeldue was named honorable mention All-Big 12 in 2024 and helped lead Kansas to back-to-back bowl games in 2023 and 2024. Both Brown and Cabeldue paved the way for 211.4 rushing yards per game, while allowing just 10 sacks as a unit in 2024.
Â
Brown played at Kansas in 2023-24, appeared in 39 games with 14 starts over his career between Kansas and Wisconsin. Brown earned All-Big 12 second team honors in 2024.
Â
If the Seahawks win Super Bowl LX, Cabeldue and Brown would become the 20th and 21st Jayhawks to win the Super Bowl all-time, including the first since Chris Harris Jr. and Aqib Talib won Super Bowl 50 as members of the Denver Broncos.
