LAWRENCE, Kan. - Kansas women's tennis will head to Orlando, Florida to compete in the Big 12 Tournament between April 15-18 at the USTA National Campus.
Kansas finished the season with a win over Kansas State Sunday, granting the Jayhawks the No. 5 seed and a first round bye in the tournament. The Jayhawks will play on Thursday, April 16 at 5 p.m. CT against No. 4 seed Arizona.Â
The Jayhawks remained at No. 39 in the country in this week's ITA team rankings. Kyoka Kubo and Heike Janse van Vuuren also remained in the doubles rankings, coming in at No. 62. Kubo is currently ranked at No. 69 in singles.Â
Kansas is riding a four-match win streak heading into the tournament, with all four wins being sweeps.
