LAWRENCE, Kan. — Guard Dennis Parker Jr. is the latest to sign with Kansas Men's Basketball, KU head coach
Bill Self announced today. Parker will be a senior at Kansas after playing last season at Radford.
"At Radford, Dennis proved that he was one of the better scorers in the country," Self said. "He's a more than capable shooter, with range. He's got great size and anybody that can get 53 in a division one game, certainly has potential to get hot and carry a team in stretches. We're very excited add him to the mix."
Parker (6-foot-6, 215 pounds) started all 32 games last season and led Radford in scoring at 18.3 points per game in earning All-Big South Second Team honors. The Richmond, Virginia native ranked second in the Big South in scoring, fifth in field goal percentage at 41.6 percent, fifth in steals per game at 1.4, and 12
th in rebounds per game at 5.9. Parker posted 11 games with 20 or more points for the Highlanders.
Parker scored a Radford record 53 points in a win against Coppin State on Dec. 14, 2025, going 19-of-24 (79.2%) from the field and 10-for-14 (71.4%) from three-point range. Parker's 53 points were the most scored in an NCAA D1 game since 2019. For his efforts he was named Big South Player of the Week and the USBWA Oscar Robertson National Player of the Week.
Prior to Radford, Parker played two seasons at N.C. State where he appeared in 52 games with 12 starts averaging 4.7 points per game in 2023-24 and 2.9 points per contest in 2024-25. His freshman season Parker was a member of the Wolfpack's 2024 NCAA Tournament run that advanced to the Final Four.

Parker is the fourth transfer to join the KU roster this spring, along with Christian Reeves (College of Charleston), Keanu Dawes (Utah), and Leroy Blyden Jr. (Toledo). The trio joins a loaded freshmen class that includes 2026 McDonald's All-Americans Tyran Stokes and Taylen Kinney, along with Davion Adkins, Luke Barnett, Trent Perry, and Grant Mordini.
