LAWRENCE, Kan. – Kansas tennis was represented by a trio of Jayhawks -
Kyoka Kubo,
Meg McCarty and
Anna Putilina - on the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Team, the organization announced on Tuesday.
Kubo advances to the CSC Academic All-America ballot, with first, second and third team honorees announced on June 2. This marks the second straight year Kubo has been named to the CSC Academic All-District team and the first time being recognized by CSC for McCarty and Putilina.
The honors come after a successful 2025-26 season, in which the Jayhawks made their 15th all-time NCAA Tournament appearance, including the eighth under head coach Todd Chapman. Following the season, Kubo was named 2026 All-Big 12 First Team in singles and earned ITA All-American honors after advancing to the quarterfinal round in the NCAA Singles Championship in the fall.
