Kansas Cross Country Unveils 2026 Schedule

LAWRENCE, Kan. - Kansas cross country has announced its schedule for the 2026 season, kicking off with the Bob Timmons Classic on Saturday, Sept. 5 at Rim Rock Farm.
Kansas' schedule consists of three regular season meets before the Big 12 Championship on Oct. 31. The Jayhawks will begin the season with their annual home meet, the Bob Timmons Classic on Sept. 5 at Rim Rock Farm.Â
Kansas will then travel to Columbia, Missouri for the Gans Creek Classic on Sept. 25 before heading to Terre Haute, Indiana for the Pre-National Invitational hosted by Indiana State on Oct. 16.
Oklahoma State will host the Big 12 Championships on Oct. 31 before the NCAA Midwest Regional Championships in Ames, Iowa on Nov. 13. Qualifying athletes will then compete at the NCAA Cross Country Championship on Nov. 21in Terre Haute, Indiana.
The Jayhawks will return top runners on both the men's and women's side, including All-Regional finishers in Reagan Kibet and Emmah Jemutai from last season. Â
