High School: Rated as a three-star recruit by Rivals and 247sports … Coached by Kirk Fridrich at Union high school … Named to the Oklahoman’s Super 30 list for the state’s top-30 recruits … As a junior in 2023, he compiled 44 tackles, 9.0 tackles-for-loss and 2.0 sacks … Did not play as a sophomore due to Oklahoma transfer rules … Hadn’t played football until his junior year of high school … Also played basketball.
