Get to Know Isaiah...
At what age did you start playing football and how did you get into football?- I started playing at five years old. My family is football players so they put me into football.
- My favorite football player growing up was Russell Wilson but someone I model my game after is Lamar Jackson.
How would you describe your game to someone who hasn't seen you play?
- I would describe my game as a play maker and poised.
2025: Played in nine games, starting one at quarterback... Rushed 15 times for 160 yards on the season, including a season long of 43 yards... Also completed 3-of-3 passing for 28 yards... Fresno State: Saw the first action of his career where he ran the ball one time for 13 yards... Wagner: Completed his first career pass and went 3-3 for 28 yards overall in the win over Wagner...Cincinnati: Ran for 20 yards on his only snap of the game...at UCF: Took two direct snaps and rushed for 13 yards...Oklahoma State: Carried the ball once for a career-long 43 yards...at Arizona: Rushed one time for six yards...at Iowa State: Had one rush for six yards... Utah: Rushed 5 times for 36 yards in the season finale.
2024: Did not see game action in his first season at KU.
High School: Rated a three-star prospect by Rivals, 247Sports and ESPN…Ranked as the No. 14 prospect in Michigan and the No. 14 dual threat quarterback in the country by Rivals…One of two 2024 Kansas signees from Southfield A&T, joined by Jalen Todd…Named The D Zone 2023 Player of the Year after leading Southfield to the first state championship in school history…Finished his senior season with 3,114 passing yards and 39 touchdowns, while also rushing for 1,507 yards and 16 touchdowns…Completed 20-of-31 passes for 281 yards and two touchdowns in the state championship game…Led an 80-yard game-winning drive with less than a minute to play in the state semifinals…Also plays basketball and runs track…Coached by Aaron Marshall at Southfield.
