The 37th annual Late Night in the Phog presented by HyVee will take place on Friday, Oct. 1, at 6:30 p.m. inside historic Allen Fieldhouse. The event springboards the start of the men’s and women’s basketball season and gives the fans a first look at the 2021-22 Jayhawks. The event is free to the public.
Women’s basketball revealed the 2021-22 non-conference schedule which features 11 total games with eight of those being played inside Allen Fieldhouse. The Jayhawks will also make a trip to Las Vegas, Nevada to compete in the South Point Shootout over Thanksgiving break.

Jayhawk women’s basketball great Danielle McCray has enjoyed a fruitful career on the basketball court. But for McCray, who concluded her time at KU ranked in the top 10 in nine different categories, her basketball journey almost ended before it got started.
Kansas Athletics student-athletes continued to standout in the classroom, collecting a 3.40 department grade-point average for the 2021 spring semester. Each of the 14 teams recorded a 3.00 GPA or better, with five teams establishing new program records.
