Why Kansas?
I picked Kansas because of the atmosphere. It’s so cool to be here and I love all the people here.
What inspired you to start playing basketball and who were your biggest influences growing up?
I started playing when I was little and my mom has been a basketball coach. My dad played, my mom also played so it’s always been basketball.
What is the significance behind your jersey number?
I picked my number because 13 is my mom’s birthday, and my mom has been a really big role model for me. I look up to her and I thought I could give a little back to her.
Best advice you’ve received?
Probably to have a lot of effort, even when the ball isn’t going through the hoop. Just to work hard on defense and have effort.
Favorite thing to do off the court?
Off the court I love to hang out with my friends. I’m also a big pickleball player so I love to do that and swim in the summertime.
