🏊‍♀️ Keeping Up With The Freshmen: Amelie Lessing

Freshman Amelie Lessing came to KU from Boulder, Colorado, and competed for the Jayhawks in primarily the butterfly, individual medley and freestyle events. She claimed 12 top-five individual finishes over the course of her first collegiate season.

🏊‍♀️ Keeping Up With The Freshmen: Franny Cable

Freshman diver Franny Cable joined the Jayhawks from Centennial, Colorado. She finished with the second-best overall scores in the one and three-meter dive events in 2019-20.

Freshman Erin Downey joined her older sister, Haley Downey, on the KU swimming and diving team in 2019-20. Erin claimed four top-10 individual finishes over the course of her first collegiate season.

🏊‍♀️ Keeping Up With The Freshmen: Autumn Looney

Freshman Autumn Looney joined the Jayhawks from St. Louis, Missouri, and swam primarily butterfly and freestyle for KU in her first collegiate season. She was a member of the 200-yard freestyle relay team that set the new KU school record in the event at the Big 12 Championships with a final time of 1:31.03.

🏊‍♀️ Keeping Up With The Freshmen: Mackenzie Bravence

Freshman Mackenzie Bravence came to KU from Overland Park, Kansas, and helped the Jayhawks in both freestyle and backstroke events. She placed inside the top-20 in both the 100 and 200-yard backstroke events at the 2020 Big 12 Championship.

73 Kansas Student-Athletes Named To Academic All-Big 12 Rookie Team

The Big 12 Conference announced the 2019-20 Academic All-Big 12 Rookie Team on Wednesday, with a total of 856 student-athletes earning the distinction. Kansas had 73 student-athletes on the list, and 13 of the Jayhawks’ recipients earned perfect 4.0 grade point averages in the past year.

📚 Kansas Swimming & Diving Selected to CSCAA Scholar All-America Team for Spring Semester

Kansas swimming and diving was selected to the College Swimming Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) Scholar All-America Team for the spring 2020 semester the CSCAA announced on Tuesday. This marks the 36th-consecutive semester that the Jayhawks have been recognized by the organization.
