True freshman second baseman Kodey Shojinaga was named a Freshman All-American by Collegiate Baseball Newspaper. Shojinaga, who has already been named as the Big 12 Co-Freshman of the Year, an All-Big 12 Second Team infielder and an unanimous selection to the Big 12 All-Freshman Team, receives the accolade following his rookie campaign.
Kansas men’s basketball will be taking a foreign trip to Puerto Rico, August 1-8. The trip will include three exhibition games on August 3, 5 and 7, against pro/club teams that compete in the Puerto Rico BSN basketball league.

The Big 12 Conference released a portion of the early television broadcast assignments and kickoff times for the 2023 college football season on Wednesday. Times and TV designations are now set for Kansas’ games vs. Missouri State on Thursday, August 31 and at Nevada on Saturday, September 16.
