PROVO, Utah – Kansas volleyball dropped its second straight match Saturday, falling to BYU in a three-set sweep as the Cougars overpowered the Jayhawks 25-17, 25-18, 25-20. Despite a strong offensive showing from Rhian Swanson, who posted 11 kills on .375 hitting, and nine more from Reese Ptacek, Kansas struggled to slow BYU's .416 attack efficiency and seven service aces. With the loss, the Jayhawks fall to 20-10 overall and 11-5 in conference play.
Kansas women's basketball coach Brandon Schneider and volleyball coach Matt Ulmer have announced that Cydnee Bryant has signed to compete for the Jayhawks in both sports. Bryant will come to Kansas as a freshman for the 2026-27 athletic campaign.
