FORT WORTH, Tex. – The Kansas women's tennis team will travel to Fort Worth, Texas to compete in the TCU Jae Foundation Fall Open from Oct. 31 to Nov. 3.Â
The Jayhawks begin the TCU Jae Foundation Fall Open with doubles action on Thursday afternoon. The team will face off against Notre Dame starting at 4:00 p.m. CT. Doubles play will resume through Friday and Saturday, with opponents not determined yet. On Sunday, the team will continue playing doubles matches against Northwestern.Â
Kansas will also compete in singles action set for Friday and Saturday, with opponents to be determined. The Jayhawks will compete against Northwestern in singles action on Sunday.
The tournament field has 18 teams competing, including Kansas, BYU, Notre Dame, Arizona, Illinois, Maryland, Rice, Texas A&M, Northwestern, Wisconsin, Baylor, SMU, Oklahoma, Missouri, Texas Tech, Cincinnati, LSU, and the host team TCU.
Fall postseason play begins with the NCAA Sectionals, beginning on Nov. 7 and ending on Nov. 10. The NCAA Individual Championships will follow, beginning on Nov. 19 and ending on Nov. 24.
