LAWRENCE, Kan. – Kansas coach
Brandon Schneider announced two additions on Thursday as Libby Fandel and Tatyonna Brown have signed to join the Jayhawks for the 2025-26 season.
Both players will come to Kansas from a nearby state and they will join the Jayhawks as freshmen next season. Fandel is a 6-1 guard from Xavier HS in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, while Brown comes to Kansas from Air Academy HS in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
"Libby and Taty are the foundation of what we believe is an extremely important class as it relates to the future of Kansas Women's Basketball," Schneider said. "They were both drawn to our culture and the trajectory of our program. Their work ethic, character, and individual skill sets will allow them to impact our team from day one. This class is not complete, but it is off to a terrific start."
"I chose Kansas because I connected with Coach Brandon and the staff.
