LAWRENCE, Kan. — No. 8 Kansas (8-2) continues its homestand when it plays host to Brown (7-3) on Sunday, Dec. 22, at 2 p.m. CT. The game will be played in Allen Fieldhouse and will be televised on ESPN.
Kansas has won both meetings with Brown in men's basketball with both wins in Allen Fieldhouse - Jan. 3, 1989 (115-45) and Jan. 2, 1997 (107-49). The 1989 contest is the widest margin of victory for Kansas against any opponent.
Kansas has won 25 of its last 27 games in the month of December beginning with the final game of the 2019-20 season. Additionally, the Jayhawks are 159-6 (96.4%) against non-conference opponents inside Allen Fieldhouse under
Bill Self. The Jayhawks have won their last 20 non-conference games at home beginning Nov. 7, 2022.
Kansas is second in the Big 12, and 10th nationally in assists per game at 19.0 and is led by 5.8 assists per game from graduate G Dajuan Harris Jr, which leads the Big 12 and is 27th nationally. Harris leads the Big 12 and is 16th nationally in assist-to-turnover ratio at 3.63.
Harris scored his 1,000th career point against NC State. He is the 67th all-time Jayhawk to eclipse 1,000 points, including the 22nd KU player in the
Bill Self era.

Hunter Dickinson leads the Big 12 in double-doubles with five, which is 13th nationally, and rebounds per game at 10.0 rpg, which is 14th nationally.
On Dec. 16, Dickinson was named the Big 12 Player of the Week and senior G
Zeke Mayo earned co-Newcomer of the Week honors. Against NC State, Dickinson recorded his fifth double-double of the season with 21 points, 14 rebounds, 8 assists and no turnovers. Mayo scored a season-high 26 points against NC State on 9-of-14 (64.3 percent) shooting and connected on five three-pointers.
The contest against Brown marks the final non-conference game for Kansas this season before opening conference play against West Virginia on Dec. 31.
