Kansas Volleyball Finalizes 2024 Schedule

LAWRENCE, Kan. - The Kansas Volleyball team finalized its 12-match non-conference schedule on Friday to go with its 18-match conference schedule, which was announced in April.
The Jayhawks will open their preseason with back-to-back home weekends, starting with their annual 'Crimson and Blue Scrimmage' on August 17, followed by their August 24 exhibition match versus Drake. Both of these Saturday matches are slated for 1 p.m. start times.Â
Kansas will then hit the road to open the regular season for an August 30-September 1 tournament at Duke, where the Jayhawks will take on South Carolina and Colgate, in addition to the host Blue Devils in iconic Cameron Indoor Stadium in Durham, NC.
Wichita State will make the trip to Lawrence on September 4 for a midweek matchup at 6:30 p.m., and then the Marquette Tournament will be up next on the Jayhawks' schedule, playing back-to-back matches on September 6 and 7 versus Marquette and Western Michigan in Milwaukee.Â
Lipscomb will come to Horejsi Family Volleyball Arena on September 15 for a Sunday matinee match at 12:30 p.m., Then, the final tournament for Kansas will be the annual Jayhawk Classic on September 19-21 with Tulsa, Creighton and Purdue coming to Horejsi to seal off the non-conference schedule.
The first Big 12 road contest of the season will be an October 3 trip to Boulder to take on Colorado. Other road opponents for the Jayhawks in conference include West Virginia, Cincinnati, Texas Tech, Arizona State, Arizona, K-State and Iowa State.
Jayhawk fans can catch home matches versus UCF, Houston, K-State, Iowa State, Utah, West Virginia, TCU, Baylor and a Senior Day match against BYU on November 27.
