Kansas is coming off a 54-40 win at Cincinnati on Jan. 11. The 40 points allowed was the fewest since KU beat Howard 89-34 on Dec. 29, 2011 and the fewest points allowed in a road game since beating Nebraska 45-39 in Lincoln on Feb. 23, 1963.
Iowa State won its 11th-straight game with an 85-84 overtime victory at Texas Tech Jan. 11. Iowa State, Houston and Arizona sit atop the Big 12 standings at 4-0 in league play. Kansas and Baylor are one game behind the leaders at 3-1.
