
LAWRENCE, Kan. — No. 11/12 Kansas (10-3, 1-1 Big 12) returns home to host Big 12 foe Arizona State (10-3, 1-1 Big 12) on Wednesday, Jan. 8, at 8 p.m. CT. The game from Allen Fieldhouse will be televised on ESPN2 with Jon Sciambi and Jay Williams calling the action.

Kansas is coming off a 99-48 win at UCF on Jan. 5. The 51-point margin is the highest road win margin in Big 12 history and the second-largest victory on the road in program history behind Dec. 28, 1990 at Hawaii Loa (+53). The 51-point margin is the largest in school history against a Division I opponent.
Arizona State has won two of its last three games after its 81-61 win against Colorado on Jan. 4. Arizona State leads the all-time series with Kansas, 6-5, and the Sun Devils have won the last two meetings.
Also, against UCF on Jan. 5, Kansas pulled down a season-high 63 rebounds, the most in a game by KU since March 24, 2002 against Oregon (63) and the most ever in a Big 12 contest. The Kansas bench combined to score 42 points, which is the most bench points in a conference game since March 5, 2016 vs. Iowa State (46) and the most in a conference game on the road since Feb. 1, 2011 at Texas Tech (42). Kansas' 99 points in a Big 12 game on the road were its second most in a contest that ended in regulation (102 at Texas on Jan. 10, 1998) and the Jayhawks outscored UCF 62-10 in the paint.Â

The Kansas-Arizona State game will be KU's TEAM Impact contest. Team IMPACT is a national nonprofit organization that connects children with serious illnesses or disabilities to college sports teams. Six KU teams, including men's basketball, participate in TEAM Impact and will be recognized during the game.

Dajuan Harris Jr. is a four-year starter who is averaging 10.4 points and he is second in the Big 12 in assist-to-turnover ratio at 3.55, which is 11th nationally, and is second in assists per game at 5.5, which is 40th nationally.
