LAWRENCE, Kan. – The Kansas Jayhawks are taking a 6-0 record to Florida this weekend, where KU will compete at the Fort Myers Tip-Off against Georgia and Dayton.
The first game will be a matchup of unbeatens as KU faces a 7-0 Georgia team on Friday, Nov. 28, at 6:30 p.m. CT. The Jayhawks will conclude the event on Saturday, Nov. 29, at 6:30 p.m. CT against Dayton, who enters the tournament at 3-2.
Both games will be played at Suncoast Credit Union Arena and be broadcast on ION TV*, with Dorian Craft (play-by-play) and Anne O'Neil (analyst) on the call. Fans can also listen to the game on the Jayhawk Radio Network from Learfield, with Steven Davis calling the action.

Sunday's victory over Oral Roberts was career win No. 550 for Kansas coach
Brandon Schneider, who is in his 28th season as a collegiate head coach. Schneider joins a group of 18 active NCAA Division I women's basketball head coaches with at least 550 career victories.
Kansas meets a Georgia team that is 7-0 on the year following an 87-59 victory over Georgia Tech on Nov. 23. The Bulldogs are scoring 83.1 points per game and outscoring opponents by 34.9 points on average. Friday's matchup will be the third all-time between Kansas and Georgia, and the first since 1993. The all-time series is tied 1-1, with KU claiming a 92-79 victory in the last meeting on Dec. 28, 1993, in New York.
The second game of the event pits the Jayhawks against Dayton, who is 3-2 on the year with wins over Mercyhurst, Xavier and Canisius. UD is averaging 72.0 points per game, with three players in double figures, led by Nayo Lear at 17.4 points per game. Saturday's matchup will be the first all-time between Kansas and Dayton in women's basketball.

Four players are averaging double figures in scoring for Kansas this season, led by Nichols who is No. 4 in the Big 12 at 19.5 points per game. She has scored at least 20 points in four of KU's first six games, with a season-high 24 against Minnesota on Nov. 19. Nichols is currently No. 26 on KU's all-time scoring list with 1,182 career points, and she's up to third in KU history with 428 career free throws made after going 8-for-10 from the line against ORU.
Evans is third on the team at 11.2 points per game for the season. She's shooting an astounding 59.4 percent (19-32) from three-point range, which leads the Big 12 and ranks sixth nationally. Evans has hit at least three three-pointers in four straight games, including a 4-for-8 effort in the win over Oral Roberts.
