LAWRENCE, Kan. – Kansas women's basketball plays its final road game of the regular season on Tuesday, Feb. 25, as the Jayhawks head to Provo, Utah, to face BYU.

Tipoff from the Marriott Center is set for 8 p.m. CT and the game will be broadcast on ESPN+ with Spencer Linton (play-by-play) and Kristen Koslowski (analyst) on the call. Fans can also listen to the game on the Jayhawk Radio Network from Learfield, with Steven Davis calling the action.

Kansas (15-12, 5-11 Big 12) enters the contest following a 90-60 defeat at No. 12 Kansas State on Saturday in the second playing of the Dillons Sunflower Showdown. The Jayhawks fell to 0-4 against nationally ranked opponents this season with the defeat.

Tuesday's matchup will be pivotal for seeding at the Phillips 66 Big 12 Women's Basketball Championship, with just one game separating Kansas and BYU in the league standings.

Elle Evans led the Jayhawks with 15 points on 4-of-6 shooting from downtown at KSU.
Zoe Canfield added a career-high 12 points off the bench and
Regan Williams reached double figures for the 12th time this season with 10 points and three rebounds off the bench.

Evans moved into the top 10 in school history for single season three-pointers made after knocking down four against KSU. Evans has hit 65 threes this season, matching the mark of Natalie Knight (2015) for fifth in school history. Evans is 65-of-158 (41.1 percent) from long range this season and ranks second on the team with an average of 14.0 points per game.

S'Mya Nichols passed Tracy Claxton (1980-82) for 32nd on Kansas women's basketball's all-time scoring list during the game at Kansas State. Nichols, who became the second-fastest player in program history to reach 1,000 career points, now has 1,027 points to her credit late in her sophomore season.

Nichols holds KU's single season record for free throws made, a mark she added to by going 4-for-4 at the stripe vs. Kansas State. She leads the nation with 207 made free throws this season, a mark that ranks sixth in Big 12 Conference history.

Canfield came off the bench to knock down 4-of-5 three-pointers at KSU. Canfield set several career highs in the game, including minutes played, points and three-pointers made.

Williams scored in double figures for the second-straight game and third time in the past four games at KSU. Williams is KU's No. 3 leading scorer with 8.6 points per game and leads the Jayhawks with 4.9 rebounds per game, while shooting a team-leading 56.0 percent (102-188) from the field.

BYU enters the contest 13-14 (4-12 Big 12) on the year following consecutive defeats at Arizona and at home to Arizona State. The Cougars are led by eight-time Big 12 Freshman of the Week Delaney Gibb, who averages 17.1 points per game and has made 68 three-pointers this season.

Kansas holds a 3-0 all-time advantage over the Cougars, with all three matchups taking place last season. The Jayhawks swept the season series before claiming a 77-53 win over BYU in the opening round of the Big 12 Championship.
