LAWRENCE, Kan. – Kansas head coach
Matt Ulmer has announced that Logan Bell has signed to join the Kansas Volleyball program for the upcoming 2025 season.
Bell, a 5-11 outside hitter from Beech Grove, Indiana, was named the Gatorade Player of the Year in Indiana and was named one of five finalists for the 2024 MaxPreps National Player of the Year award. She led Roncalli High School to a 35-0 record and the Class 3A state championship in 2024, finishing her senior season with 333 kills and 252 digs after recording a double-double of 14 kills and 13 digs in the state final.
A libero on the Under-19 Women's National Training Team, Bell is a two-time First Team All-State selection. She concluded her prep volleyball career with 1,280 kills and 1,131 digs, 168 aces and 108 total blocks.
"Logan is a one-of-a-kind player," Ulmer said. "Her IQ is off the charts, and she has a competitive drive that will help shape our program's future. Logan is one of the elite ball control players in the country not only in serve receive and defense but attacking as well. We couldn't be more excited that Logan is a Jayhawk."
Bell is the fourth player signed by Ulmer at Kansas and the first high school prospect. Last week, the Jayhawks announced the signing of transfers
Cristin Cline (Oregon), Ryan White (Oregon State) and Audra Wilmes (Washington).
