LAWRENCE, Kan. – Student-athletes and staff from Kansas Athletics walked the red carpet to celebrate the 2024-25 academic and athletic year Sunday evening at the Rock Chalk Choice Award at the Lied Center on KU's campus.
Hosted by KU volleyball great Jill Dorsey Hall and former KU men's basketball player Jeff Hawkins, the event included KU student-athletes and administrators presenting awards and special honors throughout the show.
"I certainly am so proud to look back on what was a really special year in 2024-25," Director of Athletics Travis Goff said while addressing the attendees. "There are so many remarkable moments, team successes and trophies being raised. There were obviously countless individual feats of excellence and records shattered in the classroom. When we think about the pride in which you carry the Jayhawk, the pride in which you represented your families, your hometowns, the communities of people that have lifted you up and given you these countless opportunities, I couldn't be more appreciative and more proud."
