Lize Lukas van Leeuwen are set to compete in the NCAA Zone Diving Championship at the Student Recreational Natatorium in College Station, Texas.Â

The women's 1-meter dive preliminary will begin Monday, Mar. 9 at 12 p.m. CT with the finals beginning at 3:15 p.m. later on in the day. The 3-meter dive prelim starts at 12 p.m. on Tuesday, Mar. 10 along with finals concluding at 3 p.m. CT. Lai and van Leeuwen will participate in both events.Â
After competing every NCAA Zone Diving event of their 4-year Kansas career, van Leeuwen is coming off a fourth-place finish on the platform dive and a fifth-place finish on the 3-meter dive at the Big 12 Championship.
Lai successfully set a new school record on in the platform diving event at Big 12's, scoring 260.55 points. The 3-time Big 12 Diver of the Week also earned a gold medal on the 1-meter dive and silver on the 3-meter dive.Â
At last season's NCAA Zone's, Lai qualified for the NCAA Swimming and Diving Championship, securing a second-place finish on the 3-meter and fourth on the 1-meter.Â
