QUOTABLES & NOTABLES
"Great college baseball game. Another example of the Big 12 and how deep it is and how competitive every game is. Big tip of the cap to a really good Baylor ball club. That's a coaching staff that I've known my entire career and are great friends of mine. They compete at a really high level and they do a tremendous job in all facets. That was a huge win. Obviously, these guys are the story of the game, but it's an entire dugout, an entire program that was into that one. A special day and we get to play again tomorrow." – Head Coach Dan Fitzgerald
"The coaches did a great job of preparing us for that in the offseason and the fall. It was just another at-bat to me. I was trying to get on base and help the team." – Savion Flowers
"I thought everything was working pretty well today. We always come up with a game plan beforehand and I felt like we executed it pretty well today. Trusted the defense a whole lot, they were making some unbelievable plays, especially Cade at second, and then the bats always come alive." – Dominic Voegele
