LAWRENCE, Kan. – Kansas wide receiver Nik McMillan is among 45 players named to the Biletnikoff Award Preseason Watch List, the Tallahassee Quarterback Club (TQC) announced on Wednesday, annually awarded to college football's most outstanding FBS receiver.
The Biletnikoff Award annually recognizes the college football season's outstanding FBS receiver. Any player, regardless of position (wide receiver, tight end, slot back, and running back) who catches a pass is eligible for the award.
McMillan, a native of Buffalo, N.Y., joined the Jayhawks after four seasons at the University of Buffalo, where he started all 12 games and led the Bulls with 62 catches for 981 yards and three touchdowns in 2025. McMillan was named All-MAC First Team and had seven 100-yard receiving games during the season.
McMillan has played in 21 career games with 80 receptions for 1,237 yards and five career touchdowns.
The Biletnikoff Award's semifinalists, three finalists, and award recipient are selected by the highly distinguished Biletnikoff Award National Selection Committee, a group of 625 prominent college football journalists, commentators, announcers, Biletnikoff Award winners, and other former receivers. Foundation trustees do not vote and have never voted.
